Kick-off of the three-day HUMAN Community Dance Project for the graduating year 9 classes at Gebhard Community School.
Under the guidance of experienced dance teachers, around 50 students will immerse themselves in the topic of humanity and human rights as part of a three-day workshop. This format allows for intensive dialogue and promotes cooperation and cohesion among the students in their final phase.
The original idea for the project developed from the project days at the Gebhard Community School, which took place this summer with a focus on sustainability. This gave rise to the idea of using dance and movement to learn how human rights and sustainability are intertwined and mutually dependent.

In the ‘HUMAN’ project, students have the opportunity to explore humanity and human rights through dance in a creative and physical way. Regardless of their abilities and backgrounds, they can show their individual strengths and grow in the creative process together, which further strengthens the sense of community and personal development.
