HUMAN Partitur for youth symphony orchestra Rostock

In addition to the HUMAN score for large orchestra, the orchestral material is now also available, which Michael Brzsoka orchestrated especially for the Rostock Youth Symphony Orchestra.

‘As a contrabass and music theory teacher at the Rostock Conservatory and permanent member of the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock,’ says Michael Brzoska, ‘it was my great desire and extraordinary pleasure to arrange Helge Burggrabe's fantastic music for this important project specifically for our youth symphony orchestra in a score that is easy and fun for everyone to play. Under the fantastic conductor Johannes Lang, the work Human in its deep dimension to Community Dance is now being performed for the first time with young people only.’

The HUMAN Community Dance Project Rostock takes place in collaboration with GodeWindschule, the Volkstheater Rostock, the Youth Symphony Orchestra Rostock and the LAG Tanz Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. (Performances: 2nd and 3rd July 2024)

Initiative by Jule Pietz, Ernestinenschule Lübeck
Jule Pietz, a pupil at the HUMAN Project Lübeck, orchestrated the music piece ‘Freedom’ for her ensemble. It was performed at a chamber concert with double bass, piano, violin, cello, percussion, trumpet, horn and flute.
