Performance by pupils with and without visual impairments at the opening of the new school building and as the highlight of the HUMAN project week.
As a special part of the school festival to mark the opening of the new school building of the Nikolauspflege Foundation for blind and visually impaired people, pupils with and without visual impairments from the secondary classes of the Betty Hirsch School Centre will present the “Dance of Human Rights”. Rehearsals for the performance will take place as part of a HUMAN project week from 6 to 10 October 2025.
The Betty Hirsch School Centre combines two special education and counselling centres with boarding facilities. Children and young people between the ages of six and 20 learn side by side here – a living example of inclusion in action. Friendships are formed and potential is developed. Whether blind, visually impaired, multiply disabled or without disabilities – every pupil is seen and supported. The experienced team of teachers and specialists provides individual support to create an environment in which everyone can learn and develop well.
